Mr. S. Murugan has been serving as a Member of the Governing Council of RTU’s Board of Governance since 2011. He is the Founder and Director of the Rural Area Development Trust (RUADT), based in Bodinayakanur, Theni District.

He is deeply committed to promoting the well-being and development of children with cognitive disabilities and autism. Through RUADT, he has established and manages five schools across different locations in Theni District, providing inclusive education and support services.
